The Big Debate – The Next London Plan, NLA
The NLA were on the button when they called this three hour non-stop session the “Big Debate”. Some excellent speakers, and good points were made including the need for new SMEs to enter the market and help solve the housing crisis.
One question, however. Given that an entire generation is now locked out of the London open housing market, was there enough focus on affordability?
Several speakers spelled out the importance of creating more integrated developments, and support for new housing models.
But SMEs need opportunities to make this happen.
Mix and other housing SMEs would welcome inclusion in delivering London’s future housing solutions.
